SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for shopping at YouAfterForty.com. Below you will find everything you need to know about how and when your order will arrive.


Digital Products (Ebooks & Downloadable Content)


All digital products are delivered electronically. No physical shipping is required.


After completing your purchase, you will receive a download link via email. In most cases, this link is delivered instantly. However, please allow up to 24 hours for delivery in the event of any processing delays.


If you have not received your download link within 24 hours of purchase, please check your spam or junk folder first. If the email is not there, contact us at hello@youafterforty.com with your order confirmation and we will resend it promptly.


Physical Products (Apparel, Accessories, Journals, Novelty Items & Jewelry)


All of our physical products are custom-made and printed or produced to order. Because of this, there are two phases to your delivery timeline: production time and shipping time.


Production Time: Most orders are produced within 2–7 business days after the order is placed. This includes printing, quality checks, and packaging. Production times may be longer during holidays, promotional events, or periods of high demand.


Shipping Time (United States): Once your order has been produced and shipped, delivery typically takes 3–8 business days depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.


Shipping Time (International): International orders typically take 7–20 business days for delivery after production is complete. Delivery times may vary depending on your country, customs processing, and local postal services. Please note that any customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by your country are the responsibility of the customer.


Total Estimated Delivery Time: 

  • United States: 5–15 business days from the date of purchase

  • International: 9–27 business days from the date of purchase


Please note that these are estimates and not guarantees. Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances such as carrier delays, weather events, or high-volume periods may extend delivery times beyond these estimates.


Order Tracking


Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking information to become active in the carrier’s system.


If you have not received a shipping confirmation within 10 business days of placing your order, please contact us at hello@youafterforty.com with your order number and we will look into it for you.


Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages


We are not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during transit once they have been handed off to the shipping carrier. However, we understand that things happen and we will do our best to help resolve any delivery issues.


If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, we recommend the following:


  • Check with neighbors, building management, or anyone who may have accepted the package on your behalf

  • Contact the shipping carrier directly with your tracking number to file a claim or request an investigation

  • Contact us at hello@youafterforty.com and we will assist you in any way we can


If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will work with you to arrange a replacement.


Shipping Rates


Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the items in your cart, your delivery address, and the shipping method selected. We strive to offer competitive shipping rates and may offer free shipping promotions from time to time.


P.O. Boxes & APO/FPO Addresses


We are able to ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses. However, please note that delivery times to these addresses may be longer than standard shipping estimates.
